How to politely tell our guests absolutley no children?

Recently my family and fiance's family have been having a lot of kids. We've been engaged for a few years, so our wedding has come to no surprise to anyone. I have a few cousins that have newborn babies and the other one is due in like May- Our wedding date is 9/29/18. Some of our family members...

Recently my family and fiance's family have been having a lot of kids. We've been engaged for a few years, so our wedding has come to no surprise to anyone. I have a few cousins that have newborn babies and the other one is due in like May- Our wedding date is 9/29/18.

Some of our family members have taken offense to the fact that we have asked for no kids and it has been increasingly stressful. I'm wondering how to politely ask our guests to not bring their children to our wedding in our invitations.

    Thank you very much. I do understand there is no great way of doing this. My family and my fiance's family are extremely difficult and do not take "No" for an answer.

    Lol This poem is great. As a parent, I am not offended. We love a night out. If someone is unable to attend due to babies, illness, etc. while it's unfortunate for them, your wedding will go on. I say, add the adult only reception to follow on rsvp and site. It's polite because you are being clear, leaving nothing to assumption and upfront so they can plan ahead. Parents love to plan ahead! Good luck planning!

    If hey won't take no for an answer then assume you will have kids there. You can't win if they won't listen and don't heed your request.

    If they won't take no for an answer, I'm curious: what do you intend to do when family members show up with their kids and babies?

    Geez everyone on here is relentless.
    Im sure eventually my family will respect my wishes. If not, I guess Ill be the one asking my coordinator to handle it.
