How to plan a wedding on a 1k budget

I just read this whole thing. It's so great to see people making great suggestions for how to do a wedding with a $1000 budget(court house, nice dinner with nearest and dearest).

Robyn L I understand you have another vision, but truly hosting more then a handful of people with that budget is a task myself and many brides here would never take on.

If time is on your side use it to your benefit and save or become open to the idea of changing your vision for something more suited for your current budget.
