How to incorporate our wedding website on the Invite

Nancy, on February 14, 2016 at 6:12 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

Hi, we're having a DW. We got our Save the Dates through Minted and created a website there to post info on hotels, travel, pre-wedding night cocktail party, etc. Now I'm creating our invitations. I want to enclose the traditional Reply cards for the mail back rsvp's. I'm doing the actual invitation and the reply card/envelope. But as I'm trying to save money, I don't want to print/include a "Details/Info/Accomodations" enclosure card since all that information is on my website. It's pretty much why we created it. to give our guests all the details they'll need. So, I'm trying to come up with how and where can i include our "www.nancyandmike.com." I don't want to put that on the actual invitation obviously (tacky). I'm thinking there is really no other option than to have the Details card. Any suggestions on how you did it, or how you think i can include our website in our mailing?

Martha actually says it's okay to put it in the rsvp info area (lower left corner - which is what I did), but to each her own.

I put it on the actual invitation. Every wedding I've gone to I lose all the inserts. I like all the info in one place.

I have the same question, I'm leaning towards adding a directions card with the website and login info -- we password protected ours so it's much too long to include on the actual invitation and I agree that invites are not the appropriate place for a website.

If you're worried about cost, you don't have to print the details card on the same formal paper as your invites, you could make them yourself on some high quality printer paper and just tuck it inside the suite.

You can include a small insert, even a business card size would be fine. If you put it on the RSVP card, they will send it back to you, so then the guests won't have that info after the RSVP date if they need it.

I put my wedding website URL on the "additional information" card that was sent with the invitation/rsvp card!
