How to incorporate my 7 yo cousin in the wedding?

He can be a jr. groomsman or assist the ring bearer down the aisle if he’s very small.

7 isn’t too old to be a ring bearer at all. Most weddings I’ve gone to the ring bearer has been between 5-9.

He is not too old for a ring bearer. He is finally at an age where he would understand what he is doing, and follow directions. Younger ones are usually chosen only for cute.

He can also be a page, a young assistant to the bride who helps with a long train or veil to keep it from dragging up and down church steps or going out to a ceremony area in an outdoor setting. Or a page ( think young assistant to the royal court, not a much used term) can give out programs, or take the bride's bouquet and place it on a stand while bride does vows and ring stuff, I stead of a MOH holding 2 bouquets .

My daughter is 9 (will be 10 at wedding), shes our flower girl. My 2 sons 8 and 18months are our ring Barriers. I was told there isn't a certain age for either. 🤷‍♀️

I think he can be a ring bearer! My niece will be 8 and my flower girl. Or maybe he can hand our programs or help greet guests if he isn’t shy?

He could be in charge of the guest book or an usher if you’re dead set against using him as a junior groomsman or ring bearer. He could also do a reading or prayer, but he may be a little young for that.

Girl, he can be a ring bearer. It’s your wedding , your rules . If he was like 30.. honestly it doesn’t matter . Weddings are modern now and we’ve all bended some rules and made our weddings our own. Plus you don’t want a ring bearer too young , I always worry about them missing the ring or dropping it lol 😂

My 2 Year Old Son Is Going To Be Our Ring Bearer, He'll Be Almost 3 By Then. And Will Be Walking Down The Aisle With The Flower Girl Who Will Be A Year And 4 Months Old So That He Can Assist Her. I Don't Think Age Matters Honestly When It Comes To A Role.
