How to include my grandpa in the ceremony/wedding?

Hi all!

I'm getting married in September, and I'm trying to figure out how to include my grandfather, who is very important to me, in our ceremony (or just the wedding in general). I'm estranged from my father, and would just have my grandpa walk me down the aisle - but, our venue doesn't actually have the space for an aisle. We're getting married in a beautiful B&B, and I'll be walking down a staircase, on which there's unfortunately no room for two people. Does anyone have thoughts about how I could include him in the ceremony? Or at least the wedding in general? Any thoughts would be super appreciate, thanks everyone!!

Will you get married right at the bottom of the staircase? If not, can he meet you at the bottom of the staircase and escort you to where the actual ceremony will be?

Could you have your grandpa do a special reading during the ceremony, or say a prayer at that time? Is your minister going to do the whole "Who gives this woman..." could your grandpa be the one to do that? If not, I know it's at the reception and not the ceremony, but you could do the "father" daughter dance with him instead!!
