How to handle a rude florist?

I think you should move on and find another florist. A vendor should be a pleasure to work with and not be rude to paying customers, especially when they didn't do what they said they were going to do.

If you haven't placed a deposit down then I wouldn't use her. Customer service is part of her job. If she can't be nice when she isn't even guaranteed your business imagine how she will be once she has it.

Have you signed a contract or booked her yet? I would say move on to someone else. It is your day, and while she should be able to guide you in the right direction, a florist should never tell you no just because she has different taste then you. I think you should try to find someone who you can see eye to eye with. It's important to be able to trust each and every one of your vendors!

I'd find a different florist. Weddings are already stressful enough without having to deal with rude people.

I would find a different florist. If she’s not pleasurable to work with now it will just get worse as time gets closer. You don’t need the added stress of a rude vendor.

I definitely wouldn’t give my business to her. I would find another florist with good reviews or that has been recommended.

I'm a floral designer....I would never tell someone, that a flower they wanted wouldn't look good.

I would offer suggestions, to improve the bouquets or arrangements. May, I ask what you were asking for?

Maybe its out of season? Maybe she is just super busy? Still no need to be rude.

I would suggest to go to another Florist. It should be a fun process.
Did you tell her your budget? Did she even ask or give you a ballpark figure?

She had good reviews that's why I schedule the consultation with her but it's just been a nightmare

Orchids are lovely and hold up just fine. I personally, wouldn't trust someone that didn't ask about my budget.

Any reptable florist knows how much they spend on average on flowers and could give you an estimate or ball park figure.

I always work with the bride's budget...and vision.
Im just really sad that she treated you that way.

Don't comprise on your vision.
I'm surprised she has so many good reviews

You should be telling the Florist what you want and they can guide and offer suggestions to complete your look.


Next time just walk in and observe their work in the cooler.
Ask to see their wedding portfolio and go from there.

If you don't get a good vibe from the shop....just leave.

I recommend you find a different florist.

Better to find out now what type of person she is. I would just have a review and help warn others about her.
