How to close out a daytime wedding?

Maybe end with a speech and then have the band play send off music? Would be kind of cool. Are you leaving before your guests?

Love the idea of a thank you speech at the end.

I didn't even think about something like this. I'm glad you thought to ask! We are having a daytime wedding too. Ours is probably ending around 3:30pm. I like the idea of a thank you speech. We are going to go get changed before we leave, because we are driving immediately 3hrs to our honeymoon destination. So maybe we will change, come out and do a thank you speech and then leave? I don't think we are doing a big send off necessarily, no sparklers or bubbles or anything at the moment.

I’m also having a daytime wedding mine ends at 4pm... I haven’t even thought of how to close out but a thank you speech sounds great.

You could definitely do a speech and then have a final song! our DJ announced the final song for the evening and everyone came on the dance floor and we all sang and had a blast together.

our final song was "don't stop believing" by journey. super fun since everyone knows the words lol

Call me crazy but because of how close the house is to the venue, I'd rather take everything home and at least have it in semi organized spaces so we're not coming home to a tornado lol

Oh my gosh you are NOT kidding! lol we got married out of state so we drove there and back with everything squished in our trunks and when we got home there was SOOOO much. it took me a good couple days to sort it all out.

A grand exit is the easiest way to end a wedding.

Most daytime weddings I have seen did bubbles or flower petals.

Bubbles! DJ can make an announcement for everyone to go outside and people can blow bubbles. It will be some great pictures!
