Hi ladies!

I've been looking around at some wedding dress styles for a long time now. Wedding is in a year, so the time crunch hasn't started yet. But many of dresses I love are flowy, chiffon, and not very traditional.

My sister warned me not to get a "prom-like" dress... What do you think? Is there such a thing? Does it depend on who attends the wedding/venue/accessories etc?

Some dresses I am drawn to are below.

I am obsessed with both 2 and 3 and definitely don't think it will look prom-y.

None of those look prom like to me! Especially paired with a veil and the bridal accessories, there's no way.

I get totally confused by the whole 'prom dress' label. next to never does anyone wear a dress to prom that is white. girls where all kinds of styles to prom, so just about anything could have been worn to prom by some young girl sometime, somewhere.

I say just get what you want and don't worry about it.
