How Tall is Your Wedding Shoes?

Do you plan to wear them the whole night or you plan to change to something comfortable during the reception?

Mine are 2 inches and very comfortable so I do plan to wear them the entire night. I will have flip flops just in case though or just go barefoot if I have to. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I haven't pick my exact shoes yet but they will be at least 3" heels and I will wear them all night.

I'm short and used to wearing heels so it won't be a problem for me. The higher the heels I can find, the less I have to get cut off the bottom of my dress. I might take them off for some pictures just to emphasize the 13" height difference between me and FH.

Mine are 4 inches, they were gifted to me and I had every intention of wearing them at least for the ceremony. However, after my venue remodeled and removed all carpeting (very happy about that) I'm afraid to fall of the nerves lol and I feel like they will pull my runner. And lastly, my dad is very short standing next to me without me wearing heels, so when I do the difference is very odd lol.

I want to be comfortable so I think i'll stick to my 2-inch heels and I was able to use my shoes for our E-pics this weekend.

I'm not a heel person... mine are 2.5" and I'm wearing them for the ceremony and pictures, then most likely changing into something more comfortable for me.

I wore some big 4-ish inch heels for MOST of the day - ceremony, photos, formalities at the reception - and then once it was "party time" I changed into flats (custom painted chucks). The heels were comfortable enough, just much easier to move around in the chucks. Smiley smile

I can't really wear heels to begin with. I have some lovely 1.5" wedges that I plan to wear for most of the event. I might kick them off if I'm sitting down.

Did you struggle with the hem on your dress once you changed into flats at all? I'm hoping to wear about that height shoe but I also don't want to be tripping if I decide to change shoes!

Not really - I mean I'm sure I caught it here and there, but I was more worried it would get caught on the gems on the back of my heels when I had those shoes on. My dress had a lot of volume in the bottom of the skirt so I'm sure that helped too - it wasn't gathering near my feet.

Mine are 3.5 inches and I'll just be wearing them for first look/pictures and the ceremony. Then I have a pair of glitter Kate Spade Keds to change into for the rest of the night.

I'm looking for a small kitten heel, no more than an inch. I usually wear flats, so I don't make it the night I decide to go all out. Also my fiance is a little sensitive about his height and I don't want him to feel short and I want to be comfortable to dance and move around all night too.

I applaud all of you girls wearing giant heels and especially wearing them all night! My body and heels do not go together so I would take one step and be on the ground. My fiancé is also shorter than me so I’m going with some sort of Vans sneakers.

I'm wearing Kate Spade Keds. I was planning to wear them the whole night but after the blisters they gave me in Disney World, I'm not so sure.

I'm wearing sandals! My FH is only a few inches taller than me and I want to be comfortable the whole night. I'm not a big shoe kind of girl, so I never really envisioned being in huge heels anyways.

Mine are 4" and they come in this week - i will wear them around the house and see how they feel. I generally wear this type of height for other events or dates so I am hoping to wear them all night if I can. If not then just for the ceremony and first dance.
