How soon did you start wedding planning?

I started wedding planning about 3 days after our engagement. Mostly researching when the best time is to book venues and figuring out the time of the year. We aren’t getting married for another 17 months but I really wanted to get the venue solidified.

I started wedding planning about 4 days after we got engaged. We booked our venue and set the date within 2 weeks of getting engaged. We knew that we needed to do that right away and the rest would come with that once those 2 things were done.

We're having a 9-month engagement so about 2 weeks after we got engaged. It's kinda been a rush but it's all coming together finally

We got engaged August 2018. Other than looking at some things on Pinterest and just verbally throwing around ideas, we didn't really start planning until June 2019. I just wanted to take time to enjoy being engaged. The way we looked at it was, neither one of us is going anywhere so why rush? Once we booked our venue in July of last year though we've been on a roll with booking everything. It's been nice to take our time and not stress.

Im already planning. We aren't waiting forever to ghat married. Proposal December marriage May. I've bought got everything ready. The basics that is

I started researching soon after we got engaged which was 7/27/2019 but we just started "PLANNING" this month and are now in the process of booking the venue.

Right away! But then after about six months we cancelled everything we had planned. It was going to be too big and too expensive. We didn't begin planning again until a year after we got engaged when we took a vacation and loved it so much that we started planning a smaller semi-destination wedding!

We reserved our venue the next day (our church). But besides that- we didn’t start doing much till a couple of weeks later. We wanted to take the time to enjoy being engaged!

My FH and I have been together since March 27th, 2015 and got engaged on March 9th, 2019. After 2 years of dating, I knew he was the one so I had started looking at colors and whatnot, but it wasn't until October 2018 that I actually started planning and looking at venues and thinking of who I want in my bridal party. We had talked about getting engaged, but I was expecting it to happen after we graduated college in May 2019, but he surprised me in March and I obviously said yes. Haha So it was a good thing we started planning sooner.

Wow. I honestly don't even remember lol. Maybe within the first week or 2. Possibly lol.

We waited about two weeks to get an idea of our date, and then by the month anniversary we had the venue booked and we took a small break!

We started planning pretty quickly after getting engaged. Within 1-2 weeks I was doing serious venue research and reaching out to them for information and setting up tour dates. We only had an 11 month engagement, so we didn’t have a lot of extra time.

I started wedding planning a week after I got engaged. I really wanted to just enjoy the moment. My wedding is in November we booked our venue, DJ, and flowers. Slowly but surely it’s coming together.

I, actually ordered by dress & booked our photographer/videographer the month a few weeks before we got engaged. I booked our venue the day after our engagement and quickly solidified vendors!

I planned before we got engaged aha but only for a tiny bit. So when we did get engaged I surprisingly didn't plan til a couple months after because we went on a long vacation after getting engaged that we already had planned so I was busy planning that

Immediately. I had actually already kind of started.

I started planning a couple days after we got engaged. Due to my fiance's job, we had limited dates to choose from. We choose and booked our venue on day five.

I started planning a couple months before we got engaged bc the wedding market is so competitive in my area - I wanted my vendors lol. Plus I just knew it was coming soon!!

Uhhhh before we were engaged! We booked our venue two weeks before we were officially engaged lol

Got engaged 12/6/19 . . we're gonna go see venues in Feb and plan to book one in March. So it's looking like a 17 month engagement.
