How often do you get your ring professionally cleaned?

June will be a year for me and I haven't had my cleaned and probably won't until before my wedding.

I was told by my jeweler to have it inspected twice a year but I could go for a regular cleaning (without the inspection) whenever I want.

I have mine inspected every 6 months but get it cleaned every chance I get!

I get mine cleaned anytime I'm at the mall. And inspection is supposed to be every six months.

They also cleaned it the week of our wedding to make it extra shiny for the pictures!

Twice a year or sometimes 3 times per year, depending on if I'm nearby a jewelry shop

I have to go every six months to Zales because that's the warranty suggestion. I guess? When Fh bought my ring he had to agree that it would be inspected so that if anything ever happens it'll be covered.

I've had my ring sent out 3 times to get a spa cleaning and checked.

I just had it sent out and I'll be sending it in he summer so for the wedding it's perfect hate to part with it but it's so worth it

We are lucky to live in the same building as our jeweler so I stop in before any "event" like bridal shower or fun event. Mine is platinum so I'm not concerned about wearing the finish- I might be more worried if mine was dipped

I've never had mine professionally cleaned. Probably never will. Insurance doesn't require it and it sparkles just fine using regular cleaner. I do need to get it dipped again. It's starting to yellow a bit. It's white gold. Local guy quoted me $60 so I'll get it done before the wedding.

DH bought my ring from a local jeweler, and we bought my wedding band from a chain. Its free for the chain to clean my wedding band, but I have to pay $40 for my e-ring to be cleaned which is a total waste. I have only had it professionally cleaned once. I clean my rings every week or so with this cleaner, its only $5 and you can buy it at Walmart, Target, or any drugstore. HIGHLY recommend!! I get compliments ALL the time on how shiny my rings/diamonds are!

I like to clean mine every month or so. It shines so much when it's freshly cleaned!

I don't ever get mine professionally cleaned, but I did buy an at-home jewelry steamer that I use every few weeks.

I get mine cleaned every time I'm at the mall. It's free and only takes a few minutes. I get it inspected every 6 months.

Whenever I know I'll be driving by the store, at about a 6 month mark (we've been engaged for over a year) I drop by to get the prongs on the center stone checked, and the cleaning is just part of it.

I do have a cleaning solution/brush at home that I use every two months or so.
