How much time to take off work?

I'm taking the Thursday and Friday off before my Saturday wedding. I'm not sure if that's enough time or not enough time but a couple of my bridesmaids are also taking off Thursday and Friday so they should be able to help a lot

I'm taking off Wednesday - Friday for my Saturday wedding, plus working "from home" at my parents' house Mon/Tues so that I'll be in my hometown to work on wedding stuff if needed the weekend before and those evenings. Not sure yet how long I'll take off after for the honeymoon - at least one week, but maybe more depending on how many days I need to take off for other stuff before the wedding. If I have extra vacation days left, I'll take them at the end of the honeymoon.

I requested week before and after wedding for honeymoon my FH did the same.

I took off Thursday and Friday for my Sunday wedding and then that whole next week for our honeymoon.

Im taking 2 days before the wedding... then 10 days for honeymoon

I was only planning on taking the Thursday/Friday off before our Saturday wedding but the phone calls and last minute stuff made me leave work around 10 the Wednesday. Then I had the Monday off went back till we left on honeymoon Friday. But I also have 4 weeks holiday time in a year.

We're getting married on Saturday, so I plan to take Thursday and Friday off, and then that whole next week for our honeymoon then go back to work on Tuesday.

I saved my time to take Wednesday and Thursday off for our Friday wedding- and the entire following week off

I'm planning on taking the Wed-Fri before my Sat wedding because we need to travel for it. I'm hoping that's enough

I'm taking the Friday before our Sunday wedding thru our 2 week honeymoon

I mean, I'm a teacher so I have the whole month before off. Should be enough time. Lol. But a lot of people take the Thursday and Friday off.

I'm taking off Thursday and Friday for our Saturday wedding and taking off the week after for honeymoon. I figured two days before is sufficient, but we will see!!

Overall, I was happy with Thursday and Friday off. I have a short delay before HM, and I'm actually kind of thinking I should have taken today off too, because I'm still recovering from "too many people" mode.

But, the Thursday and Friday was enough time for me. Maybe I should have actually scheduled a half day on Wednesday, but I didn't necessarily need it.

Our plans are a bit up in the air right now, but we will likely go with a Thursday evening wedding and if so, probably only take the day before with a long weekend after. We had a lot of unfortunate chaos in our lives this year that made us just want to be married already and ate up our PTO. We do plan on taking a looong honeymoon in 2018.

Taking only thursday off for a Friday wedding. Going back to work on Monday- honeymoon isn't until 2 weeks after and for that it is 5 days that I'm taking off.
