How Much is TOO Much for a Flower Girl Dress? Also Ring Bearers....

I found the dress I want my flower girls to wear. It is $140 though, and I want them to wear cowboy boots with it... is that too much to ask their parents to spend? My FMIL was going to make them, but I don't know if I want her to, since I found these dresses I love! Also, can I see your ring bearer...

Also, can I see your ring bearer outfits? And where did you find them? I literally cannot find any! Smiley sad

    I am having a hard time asking my bridesmaids to spend that for THEIR dresses. I personally think its very high.

    Thank you Kristen!!! Yep my colors and navy and yellow, but I want them in yellow. I love the 2nd dress you linked me too!!!

    And I didn't even know Forever 21 made girls clothes!!

    Okay, yeah I am definitely going to start looking for some cheaper dresses.. you guy have all convinced me! Thank you!! Still have to have the ring bearer's outfit though.. :/

    My FH's niece is our FG and I told her mom (my FSIL) that she could pick any dress she wanted. She went to Alfred Angelo store and picked out a similar one to mine - its gorgeous but I'm afraid to ask how much she spent on it.

    Now would I pay $160.00 for a FG dress - nope, probably would not.

    Yea, I would refuse to pay that much especially if you were making me get cowboy boots too for my daughter. Unless you buy them the boots, or have well off friends/family they might also scoff at that much too. I would definitely ask your friend what they are comfortable paying before picking anything.

    I would never spend that much, my flower girls dress was $48.

    Thanks Marilyn! I really like those $140 ones! Maybe you have them get those but then are you able to go to payless, walmart, target somewhere to find shoes for cheap and give them to the girls to wear? This way you're not making their parents pay for any extras?

    These are our ring bearer's outfits. We got them (and the flower girl dresses) from Janie and Jack, they have a lot of cute things there!
