I quoted 3 bouquet different bouquets. 1 was “rejected” because peonies are seasonal. So, that’s out. Then number 2 (I drawn bellow) was wayyy too expensive. Sit down and take a deep breath..... IT’S FREAKING $600!!!! This is my nr 3 bouquet I request a quote:It is $375 and $45 for each matching...

Thank you

I’m really thinking a lot of those price hikes are because it’s Hawaii. Any thoughts of silk arrangement or DIY?

Yes. I am aware everything cost more in Hawaii, because they apparently have to import most of their floral. On top of that covid made it even worse. Not only now it’s less option on the floral, it is also more expensive. I chosen orchid because I read they are native to Hawaii, but the florist I asked told me they have to order them in bulk even if I only want 2-4 stemm. That’s when I had to change my mind and just go with the common floral, like roses.

I never thought of artificial flowers. I never like them. I did look at them actually, but they all look fake to me. I decided to go with real flowers since I also want to have close up pictures from my wedding things. I pay too much attention in details. Photographer syndrome maybe 😅

There are so many factors to consider when it comes to fresh flowers. The type of flowers (it does depend on their season and some are normally more expensive than others), the size of the bouquet, the shape of the bouquet, where you are located, etc. I would say around $200 is about average for a bridal bouquet.
