How much does wedding photography cost on average?

Celia is right 750 in NYC is too cheap and I would be VERY skeptical.

We are paying 6K in NYC for all day coverage. (not sure if my photographers prices have changed/gone up since I booked her, but I m assuming they have, since things go up in price every now and then)

We are paying $4500 in Westchester, NY - 2 photographers for 12 hours!! Definitely wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. We really just loved his work.

We're in Central Ohio and are paying 2000 for all day coverage, 2 shooters, engagement session, and a usb woth printing rights. We can also order albuns through her if we choose.

I'm in Milwaukee WI, we are hiring a photographer out of Chicago for about $3000.

We will get 2 shooters, 9 hours of coverage, minimum 700 edited photos, personalized website with purchase or download options, and a flash drive with all photos and printing rights. We opted out of an engagement shoot to cut the price down.

I'm in Oklahoma and it's around 2,000 here as well but only 1 photographer. If you got 2 photographers here, it's like 3,500.

I think I paid $3000 for 8 hours, two shooters, an engagement shoot, and there were also a lot of extra photo things included (photo albums, a canvas print, etc.) I also will get all the photos taken. I'm in Dallas!

I received a really discounted price since she's the preferred photographer at my venue and she had a promotion going on when I booked. I think she normally charges $4700 for my package.

If photo perfection isnt too high of a must have, u can look for people that do it for a hobby or are in school still. they will charge WAY less (depends on your budget and how important photography is for you). If you just want moments captured non blurry and in a good position then this is perfect. maybe get a couple of them depending on costs. And always look at their work first! good luck!

Our daughters photographer is $2000 for seven hours, two shooters, engagement photos, USB with all the pics and discount on albums. I work weddings and this photographer does a ton of weddings at the venue where I work. So we did get a discount.

I am in RI/MA. We are paying $1,900 for 8 hours, all digital copies and rights and we got an engagement session in that price as well. One shooter.

My photographer (FlashyMama) is in South Florida. I believe she charges around $3k for a 2nd shooter and engagement photo package. I love her! (She was a microbiologist before becoming a photographer.... i just find that so cool!!)

The package is about $3200 for 8 hours and two photographers, and I need to pay for a hotel for them, gas, and pay for their dinner. So, all in all they will probably have cost us about $3700.

I'm in Chicago, and photographers aren't cheap around here. Our package was $3,800. We got 6 hours, 2 photographers, and an album, and a Parent album., as well as a USB in custom photo box, and a DVD of our pictures to music.

Depends on the hours you want. You can find some cheaper options, but you will likely be giving up quality or experience which both scare me. I would budget 2-3k minimum.
