How much did your cake cost?

Great steal! We're paying $300 for a 3 tier to feed 100 then doing 4 other types of dessert. We really lucked out!

My cake and cupcakes? for 150 people is $700

We're doing a 2 tiered cake and about 130 cupcakes for 300$

Mine is 3 tier and an extra layer for 100 people is about $250

My cake was 3 tiers and $525 for 90-100 guests (the top tier was a wedding gift from the bakery)

I've never heard of a $150 cake....where are you located?

Mine is around $400 for a 4 tier cake for 200 people, but the chef making my cake is a personal friend.

That's a good price. We had a 4-tier cake for 130 guests and it cost $600 (including delivery). I'm in the suburbs of MD.

I got quotes for $3 per slice so I decided to go with bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes. It comes out to just over $1 per bundtini ($20.50 per dozen)

That's a serious steal. We're paying around $300 for ours for 75 people and I thought that was a steal.

We did a small cutting cake and then enough cupcakes for 175 people, and it was 300$ Canadian. i think cupcakes tend to be cheaper though!

Every place I looked at was at least $8 slice. We are not having a cake, we're doing a dessert display for 75 and it's $710 (includes tax, delivery, etc.) I am definitely over ordering but I'm providing take home bags.

3 tier for 100 people, came to $850. Damn sugar flowers! lol

I think mine is $825 if I remember correctly.

ETA: Fondant maple leaves are expensive.

That seems like a low price, have you looked at their reviews? In my area, cakes are a minimum of $5 per serving for a simple buttercream cake.

I'm still shopping around and cake tasting but the baker I'm most excited about is, for all intents and purposes, an artist and has some of the most amazing sounding flavors that we'll be tasting this upcoming Monday.

She charges $5.50 for regular flavors pp and premium ones (like Frangelico hazelnut, pistachio cardamom, pastelito etc) have an added .75¢ I believe.

We're having a fairly small wedding so I definitely don't mind putting some extra pennies towards a really good cake.

Oh wow! That's a lot. But I have no concept of how much they should cost. Sorry I'm no help. Cake is Included with my venue and its not priced out individually on the summary she gave me so I have no idea.
