How much did your cake cost?

Damn girl, where are you? That sounds like a steal to me.

That's cheap, less than $2 a slice. We are getting a 4 tier cake to feed 200 with our venue's wedding package and I peaked at the retail cost while at the bakery. It's $1,000!

Our is $540 for 3 tier and a half sheet. It is a butter creme frosted with a few little fondant accents and flowers.

TBH it wasn't my first choice, but the cake was good and they come recommended.

Cakes are differently priced depending upon region. Where I am, you can get a cake for about $4.50-$11 per slice depending on the bakery.

I'm getting a 3 tier cake as well and they told me $500 too so yeah that sounds about right

$200 for a small cake to cut and 5 dozen cupcakes, plus set up. My distant relative is a professional baker so she's giving us a discount.

Everywhere I've found in NYC starts at 5 dollars a slice. We're having around 160 people. Listen I love cake, but 800 bones (at least) makes me wanna scream "eff cake!!"

Wow!! I'm stunned reading these comments because I never imagined the cake being so much. My venue includes it for free so I'm super thankful for that now.

We have a 2 tier "show cake" that will serve about 50-60people and a full sheet cake serving about 100. We have about 150ish people coming and we are paying $170. I think we got an awesome deal.

We got one quote for the same exact cake - $1200. And the cake was dry and the fillings were "meh." But they came in exotic small batch flavors! (as the woman boasted.) Doesn't matter if your Lemon raspberry jam Viennese cream with macadamia nuts is organic and small batch if it tastes bad.

Our cake was included with our venue.

@Ella that is how ours is too! They JUST did a website because they expanded and opened up a diner on the other half the bakery. Small bakers are the best!

For a three tier brides cake with a different flavor in each tier and a sheet cake for groom we are sitting at $600 here in the DFW area.

We got a cutting cake and then sheet cakes for the rest of our 200 guests for $350

I've seen $3-$5 a person. I used to work at the bakery doing ours and she's gifting it to us. So grateful

$520 for a small 2-tier show cake and sheet cake to feed 150. Wedding is in CA about $4 a slice I think

3 tier for 90 people came to about $300. Extra sheetcake/groom's cake in different flavor is $100, and that'll probably feed 75-100.
