How much did you spend total on your wedding dress?

I just bought my wedding dress. The dress itself came in under budget but with the veil and the alterations came in over budget. I paid half and owe $2k more.

Mine is a Galina dress from David's Bridal. It was originally $549. I got it for sale $349.99. I dont owe any, but I haven't gotten my alterations yet. I couldnt imagine having another dress. It is absolutely beautiful! And EXACTLY what I wanted! I would show it, but we havent gotten married yet. Our date is March 21, 2020

I haven't done alterations yet, but I'm most likely only going to need a hem so it shouldn't bee too bad. My dress was $898 and my tiara was $150. I'm over the budget I originally set, but my mom surprised me by paying for my dress, which made it possible.

My dress was $200 and alterations will be free since my aunt is a tailor 🙂 I’m still deciding on whether or not to get a veil, but if I do I’ll probably get it off of Etsy.

I’m glad I ended up getting my dress at a sample sale, otherwise I would have been even more over budget than I currently am
