How much did you spend total on your wedding dress?

I just bought my wedding dress. The dress itself came in under budget but with the veil and the alterations came in over budget. I paid half and owe $2k more.

A lot. Too much. But my stepdad paid for half of it, and my mom the rest. I won't say the price, but the alterations are $850. Vera Wang.

The dresses were $450 each plus tax, so a total of just over $1,000 for the two of them. Alterations were $257 total for the two dresses plus addition of a blusher to my veil. Veils were $167 for the two of them. Tiaras were $20 for the two of them.

I'm looking at $900ish total for my complete look (dress, alterations, veil, shoes and jewelry).

My dress is getting custom made for $1250. I'm scared to even know what it will be after alterations lol.

My parents bought my dress and veil which were $2400. I’m paying for my alterations and won’t know that number until they’re done

My mum surprised me by purchasing my dress. It was in my budget at $180! I don't think I'll need alterations, going to bustle it ourselves and I'm going to look on Amazon or JJs house for a veil Smiley smile also already have my shoes, a pair of white wedge sandals so those were technically free

My dress costs ~1550, but I attended a trunk show and it was 1380 with that discount. My godmother paid for it, so while it was under my 2k budget, it ended up being free for me.

My veil was from Amazon and it was gorgeous. I had a cathedral length veil so I only wore it for pictures and the ceremony. It’s actually the only thing I preserved.

Dress was $1,500, veil was $220, headband was $15, alterations were $350. My dress was originally $1,700 but since I got it the same day as my appointment, they gave me a discount so it ended up being just under $1,500 including tax.

My dress was $1000 or so(FH paid for it not me) during a sale but it was a heavily damaged sample dress, a full priced brand new one was 4x that, couldn’t afford new.
My awesome seamstress is only charging me $300 for the very difficult alterations and repairs so all together the dress is about $1300. I think that’s a steal because she’s a miracle worker and has made it look brand new.

Mine was about $4,000 and I’m not sure how much alterations and my veil will be😬 I was planning on paying for it but my dad wanted to. I’m extremely grateful for that!
