How much did you spend total on your wedding dress?

I just bought my wedding dress. The dress itself came in under budget but with the veil and the alterations came in over budget. I paid half and owe $2k more.

My budget was $1,500 but the dress I fell in love with was more than my budget. The total cost was $1,966 after taxes.

The dress! How much did you spend total on your wedding dress? 1

I found a dress that I liked at David's Bridal for about $850 The Rhinestone belt was another $200. I decided to wait a little bit and I'm glad I did. My maid of honor saw the same dress on a Facebook Marketplace post and very long story short the bride had never worn the dress had the tags on it and needed to unload it because it was a second dress and I got it for $100. I bought a rhinestone belt that was almost identical on wish for $17.

My dress was a discontinued model that was originally around $1,400; I got it for just under $800 before alterations.

My budget was 2,500, however the dress I purchased was 1,700. My mother paid 600 towards the dress, so my total out of pocket before alterations is 1,100. Additionally, I’ve opted out on a veil as I can’t see myself wearing one.

Mine was $499 before tax. The one I tried on fit perfectly so I went home with it and had zero alterations

$960 with tax before alterations. I'm hoping that the alterations don't go over $500.

Fingers crossed that I can find an affordable veil on etsy!

Dress is $850, haven’t done alterations yet but i’m not expecting them to be a lot. Probably buying my veil used or off of Amazon!

I purchased a 👰👗online and tried it on several times since it arrived.

I knew that I wanted a dress with color and I was not going to spend a lot of money on it.

    It’s lovely and totally awesome!

At the end of the day, it’s one day of your life. Yes, it may be a spectacular day, but it’s only the first day of the rest of your life. You still have to live once the day had passed. You shouldn’t go broke or into debt over a 👗or Wedding.

My Reception outfit is a really cute Juniors’ dress. My MoHs and one Bridesmaid 💟 it. #2👗es for less that $400!!!!

I bought my dress last year before we decided to cancel wedding planning and elope. I like different and am very non-traditional when it comes to just about anything, so I chose not to go to bridal shops to try on dresses because I knew I wouldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I found my dress on Etsy on sale for just over $300. My shoe's I bought on sale for $60 originally $100. Now I'm trying to figure out what veil on Amazon I want.

$2,200, so far. I thought I’d spent half, but the David’s Bridal sales staff were very persistent while all my emotions were taking the best of me! Lol. I still have alterations to be done, that’d be another $375 approximately and I’m paying for the fabric I will need to get my sleeves and neck.
