How much did you spend on your cake?

Those designs will be expensive because not only is it 3-4 tiers but the designs are intricate and that is what you will really pay for. Design can greatly impact as it takes more time. A co worker of mine is going to Sam's Club and getting a 3-tier for $70 but sure it won't be heavy designs.

We spent $400 on our 3 tier cake. We went with a round cake and not a square cake because it was more expensive. I also ordered a grooms cake for $140, which can feed 30 people, so it counts as a separate tier. So we spent about $540 on cake alone.

We spent $610 on our 4 tier cake that'll serve 152 people. Shop around! Our baker makes delicious cakes and only charges $4 per wedding cake serving. Other bakeries in the area were $5-$5.50 per serving so we saved money just by shopping around! We, also, got a 3 tier groom's cake that feeds 52 people for $180 (groom's cakes are a lot cheaper than wedding cakes).
