How much did you spend on your bouquets?

Macie, on August 5, 2014 at 5:16 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 35

I'm debating on whether to use fake/silk flowers for my bouquet or go to a florist and get them made. I've already bought all of the flowers for the centerpieces so that cut costs on flowers by a lot. How much did your bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and buttonieres cost? Real or DIY'ed. Thanks!

Hello! Pardon my lack of knowledge on flowers..

My bouquet was $68, which included orchids, baby's breath, carnations, these cute little blue flowers, and fake silver branches.

Bridesmaids were $34 each, which are carnations, the little blue flowers again (haha I forgot what they are called! They start with a D...), baby's breath..

Bouts were $10 each and were a mix between orchids and carnations with silver accents

I used high quality silk flowers (it just easier for me to be able to have the bouquets ready in advance). I paid $135 for the flowers for my bouquet and 3 bouquets for my bridesmaids. They have cheaper silk flowers though and I also went to the flower district to get them.

ETA: I have 3 different flowers in mines and BM have 3 hydrangeas in their bouquets. That's the only flowers I'm using for the wedding. Using candles for centerpieces and the guys aren't wearing bouts.

I'm using sola flowers. They all cost about $115 and I'm *hoping* to get four BM bouquets and one tossing bouquet out of them. Mine was pricier because I'm doing brooches. I'm scared to add up my total. I probably spent about $120 on brooches and maybe $30-40 on the other supplies?

I'm having my flowers done by a professional florist and budgeted a lot for them so I think my costs are going to be a bit higher than the norm. My bouquet is $165, BM bouquets are $65 each (also doubling as low table centerpieces), and our GM bouts are $12.50 each. My bouquet is made up of Ivory garden roses, scabiosa pods, juliet garden roses, cotton hull pods, ranunculus, and gardenias. BM bouquets are Vendella roses, dusty miller, cotton hull pods, angel vine, sweet gum leaves, and coral hypericum berries.

I'm doing my own bouquets with flowers from Costco. They will cost me about $30/each. I'm mixing hydrangeas roses and greenery.

Like Lauren I'm also using the 4 bouquets to decorate our sweetheart table. The table isn't as big as the one in the pic, so the 4 bouquets should look fine... I didn't even think to get a toss bouquet. Prbly just throw one of the BM own.

I made mine with Calla Lilly's with pearl accents from hobby lobby. All the flowers cost $40 and the accents another $15. So for 6 bouquets including mine and the 7 bouts it was $45.

I paid a bit more 150 for my bouquet and 50 for my bridesmaids, they will be decorating the head table. But part of that was my mistake >.< I wanted dahlias and succulents ... Not cheap apparently so Pinterest did me in! Lol

I had a florist (she also did all my centerpieces, but I won't give you those prices).

My bouquet was $100 - pink peonies, succulents, lisianthus, and ranunculus

MOH bouquet was $70 - succulents, lisianthus, ranunculus, dahlias, and ranunculus

Flower Girl Bouquet was $20 – bouquet of seasonal blush flowers

    3 - Corsages for $45 - dahlias and ranunculus

5 - Bouts for $75 - succulents and blush colored flowers.

I also bought 3 bouquets of sola flowers to use at the rehearsal (bride, MOH, and FG), for bridals, etc.

My seamstress is making a bouquet for me and two bouttenaires for $40. MOH is using her same bouquet from my 2004 wedding.

I was priced at $75.00 per bridesmaid bouquet and $145 for a bridal bouquet, boutonnieres were $15 a piece and centerpieces were $75 and those prices were only including low cost, in season flowers. I wasn't too happy with what I was getting.

I ended up making myself a brooch bouquet and spent roughly $250.

I plan to go to a local supermarket closer to the date of our wedding to get pricing on the bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres (8) and centerpieces (8) and if they aren't reasonable I will be ordering flowers from Sams Club for about $600 for everything and I will actually be getting flowers that I want lol.
