Hi Ladies!

This is my first of many posts - I'm sure. Congratulations to you all!

I'm 100 days out from my wedding day and so excited! It's crazy because there are some items that I am been adamant about cutting back on and there are also items that I want to splurge on.

One of my potential splurges is for shoes. I found the perfect shoes online. The problem is the cost because they are Manolo Blahniks! Saks has the shoes 30% off but they're still extremely expensive.

There's a part of me saying Girl you're nutz for even thinking of spending that much but then there's that other part of me that's saying Go for it! You work hard, you got a good raise and you're getting a Christmas bonus so you deserve it!

What do you think of these shoes (pic attached)?

AND how much are you spending on your wedding shoes and where are you getting them from?

I have big feet! I wear a size 11 so I'm shopping online for a few pair to take to my first fitting.

Thanks All.

Those are the shoes that I originally was gonna get, but then I brought it back down to reality. While I have no problem spending 6 and 700 on a pair of Loubous, I needed to put that money toward something else. So I went with Blue by Betsey Johnson for $130. Here is a pic.

I will most likely spend around $50 for my shoes. I plan to get them from DSW.

    $70 or so at Zappos.

My sister/MOH found silver wedges for $20 and bought 2 pair so we could change into them if our feet hurt.

I love them! I was considering those same shoes.

Here's my thought: I can't fathom spending $600+ on a dress I'll wear once - but I would spend that much on shoes I'll wear again. If you can afford it - do it!

My bridal party along with myself are all wearing the same shoes.. We got boots from Ross for $13. You wont be able to see them unless we lift our dresses.. None of us are really "heals" type of girls.. So we figured the boots are super comfy and the add a little height... Plus I LOVE them, they were SUPER cheap and I can wear them anywhere.

The pictures I attach are the only ones have of them at the moment

Oh your shoes are beautiful! I love shoes but don't like spending a lot on them. I'll probably check DSW but I don't plan on spending more than $70 for both ceremony and reception shoes.

My shoes were under $200. They are very comfortable Kate Spade wedges. I wanted wedding wedges and they were close to impossible to find. I spend $60 on my rain shoes just in case I want pictures outside and it has rained and I don't want to ruin my Kate Spades. I posted them as well, they are rubber.

Also I love the shoes you posted. If you can afford them, snatch them up before they are gone. If fashion is important to you that is Smiley smile That's more than my dress costs and we couldn't afford that expensive of a shoe - I got ones that I loved though and I think every girl should have a great pair of shoes to wear on their wedding day

Mine are peep-toe ivory lace with a 2" heel from DB. They were about $60...I didn't want to spend too much since I can't imagine another time I'll wear them.

Probably under 20. My honey wants me in flats and I have a big poofy dress so no one will see them. @ Sammy--I LOVE YOUR SHOES!!!

I got "I Do" pumps from Seychelles. They are sold out pretty much everyewhere online, but I found them on the clearance rack at DSW. I will be dying them emerald green, and my personal attendant is bejewling the heel.

I think I spent about $30 on the shoes, which is a pretty good deal, since I think they were orginally sold for around $120. I'm not sure how much the dying and jewels will cost though.

@ Blondie123 - They are Mel by Melissa. I love this brand! They are really comfortable. I got them on Zappos, but I think they are out of this color now.

Wow! I'm surprised the Swan's went on sale! I was looking at those for a while, but in the blue, but figured they were too high for me to wear all day long. I would say that you might want to snatch them up now though, because at a size 11, they'd be hard to find once they sold out. You can always return them as long as you don't wear them outside. The way I feel about shoes is that you're more likely to wear them again then your own wedding dress, so why not. I ended up with a killer deal on a pair of Miu Miu's that I dyed but would have paid a huge sum if a certain pair of heels "spoke" to me.
