Ours is $60/adult. That's for cocktail hour, dinner(we're having stations) and 5 hours of open bar.

I'm an east coaster as well and our open bar is included in the price. It's $85/person (food/bar/service), so we're pretty lucky

But I've seen hosted bars, beer/wine only, etc.

Ours is consumption based. From $5-$7 depending on the drink. We are setting a 2k limit and going to cash after. If it is late, we will keep the tab going though.

I kinda wish they had a price per person, because people tend to leave half drank bottles around. Most my guests will maybe drink one or two. I don't *think* we will hit the limit, but you never can tell.

Ours is all included food, liquor, rental of the hall, we are paying $31.50 per person, it was so much easier with a flat fee.

We are doing drink tickets, 2 pp. The most expensive drink is $7.5 for a glass of wine. We limited the liquor to the "deluxe" alcohol and not the premium. We have 50 guests, so with tab, tax & grat, comes out to about $1000.

That doesn't include the champagne we will serve as guests arrive for a "mini" cocktail hour before the ceremony.

After they use their drink tickets, it's a cash bar.

Ours worked out to about $20/person, plus tax & tips. But, the venue screwed up. We were supposed to have just beer & wine, and a signature drink, but they let guests have open bar, including premium stuff. AND they were supposed to let us know when we were approaching our $1000 limit, but they did not. DH says it's not enough to worry about letting them know, since we've already paid the bill, but it still burns me that they did not follow what was in the contract.

Limited open bar. $500 for beer, wine, sodas. The caterer is providing all the cups and ice. Not very many of our guests drink a lot so this was much cheaper than even having the caterer provide a limited bar.

I probably won't be too much help since ours is going in a family backyard which in Texas means, "large outside space with mutated walnut/pecan trees". I'm planning on a bottle of champagne at the tables for the toast as well as a bottle of wine. We'll have signature drinks already mixed in mason jars so people don't get tooo cray cray.

We are doing a consumption bar as our wedding is small (only 40 people) I think each drink is around $7.00

For $65/pp we are having an open bar. It includes champagne for the toast. It does NOT include high end liquors so we will be supplying those ourselves with no corking fees. In South Florida, we got lucky!

Oh, that also includes dinner and our cake!

Normally we would go through the caterer, but my parent's are huge wine people, so they chose to get the alcohol and beverages themselves...god only knows, since they go with expensive good stuff, as to how much it is costing....I don't wanna know LOL

Cocktail hour is passed champagne. Reception for 3 hours full premium bar is $25pp. If i want additional hours is $5pp for each hour added. Ours will be on a Sunday night so no need for any longer.

Hard to say exactly - I have budgeted for 2 cases each of red and white wine and champagne @ $15/bottle which is about $1,000

    Keg is $125.

Then I have purchased crown, jack, absolut, captain morgan at duty free during my overseas travels. guessing about $250, Vodka will be $150, and wedding cake vodka for shots $100. Already had the tequila for the margarita machine.

My guess is around $1,800 for 100 - 125 guests. I actually did the calculations of need based on 150 people to be sure we do not run out!

I think we are going to do a limited bar. Just beer and wine more than likely.

I don't have a lot of heavy drinkers, many that don't even drink at all. so we are considering doing based on consumption.

Trying to keep it under $5000 for food and alcohol total.
