Have you been together “forever”? How many years have you two been together?
Years of staying together doesn't determine the genuineness of love all i believe is understanding and maturity in the relationship that shows how the marriage gonna be... Anyways we've known each other for just few months .
The day we get married will be our 6 year anniversary 😊 so crazy for me to say. I met my fiancé when I was 16, I’m 22 now. Time really does go by fast 😭❤️
We'll be close to 4 years by the time we get married in July. I needed a little more time since I was separated/divorcing when we met. I had moved out and was living on my own by then, and the divorce was finalized a few months after we met. I had a short, miserable marriage and a very emotionally taxing (my ex-husband was very emotionally manipulative and abusive which was why I left), though thankfully relatively short/easy divorce.
I am grateful everyday that I met my FH, who is loving, kind, thoughtful, funny, loyal, incredibly smart and just an all around amazing person who is making a difference in the world with his work. He also knows how to communicate effectively and while we disagree on plenty of things, we rarely fight (when we do, they don't last long and we talk it out like adults - in other words, we fight together instead of against each other).

16 years of friendship, 4 years dating, 274 days until the vows!
About a year. It was just a REALLY intense year! LOL We decided to not live together until we're married and set a date for next year. New Yorkers just hate wasting time I guess *shrug*

2 and a half years. We will be getting married the day before our 4th anniversary.
It’s been 16 years and two long distance separations but we kept our love alive and strong. Been through it all together as one. He asked for my hand twice before but I just wasn’t ready. I was NOT letting him go this time. Exchanging vows on the beach on March 28
