How many wedding dresses did you try on?

I know I tried on at least three at my first fitting, but I want to say there were as many as five. None of them ended up being the one, but they all gave me good ideas of what to keep looking for on other trips.

I tried on about 25 Lol. I booked appointments at 4 different places over the course of a couple weeks & at each place I tried on at least 5 dresses. The very last one I tried was THE ONE. There were definitely some I didn’t come out of the dressing room in as I was trying to figure out what I liked or a stylist threw in a few “suggestions” that didn’t hit the mark but I was being open. I walked away from each appt with a top pick that I could be happy with, but nothing I couldn’t let go of, until the last one. So it took me a minute to find the dress with all the elements I envisioned. It’s not always a one & done so if that happens to you, don’t get discouraged! I did it all with just my mom & the search was so much fun!

I tried on 4 but the first dress I tried on was the one. I had done alot of looking at dresses online and knew ahead of time the feel that I was going for.

I went to a few shops and tried a few on here and there but one night I randomly went in to a bridal shop just to look because I was there. I found a dress on their discount rack and went yep have to try this one on. I did and out the deposit on it that night. My H2B said he knew it was the one because I was so excited about it when I left the store and was raving about it without giving him too many details .

I am a bridal stylist and when I went shopping for my own dress I had no idea what I wanted. I did my research and chose to go to a smaller salon than the one in which I work. We picked out 8 dresses for me to try on, but I only tried on 6. When I put the 6th one on I knew it was my dress. I feel that some times the more places you go and the more dressed you try, you get overwhelmed. Wedding planning has been stressful at times and I didn't want finding my dress to be that way.

I tried on 5 or 6! I just made sure to try on every “style” of dress, even dresses I was pretty positive I wouldn’t want, just to be sure! You never know! I totally ended up switching my veil/hair/accessories plan one month before my wedding 🙃

I went to David's Bridal first and tried on maybe 6 or 8? Then went to BHLDN and tried on another 6...so around 12 total. I knew what dress I wanted from the get go but I didn't know if it would look good on my body. Once I tried it on an BHLDN, I was done. It was my dress

I went with my SIL/MOH. We were thinking it would take a couple of hours, so first stop David’s Bridal. I walk in, the lady asked me what I wanted, and what look I’d like. No idea, but lace, romantic, and A line more fitted. She looked me over a little andcsaid your dress is upstairs. I’m like, what?! Walk up the stairs and she said it’s over there. Yup. I freaked... she brought it out to me and it fit perfect to my body. Had one “fitting” to shorten, bustle, and take the arm things in. We spent the rest of the time going to a restaurant for lunch and I cancelled the other appointments. It was as fast for FH getting his tux.

I think I tried on a total of 12 dresses, before I found one that I actually liked.

6...all ordered online from Amazon or Shein... found THE ONE from Lover Bridal

I tried on 15 dresses. I had a spreadsheet of dresses I wanted to see/try on. They didn't have the last one in the stores I went to, so I went to a sister store, tried on the last one and that was the one.

I tried 2 different boutiques, 7 dresses in total. The first boutique, my last dress (#4) was my favorite. I mentally prepared to go back after my 2nd dress shop appointment and buy it BUT the 3rd one I tried one at David's Bridal was THE ONE. I saw myself marrying him in it and got this special feeling when I looked at myself in the mirror. I was sold after that.

I went to one store and tried on about six.
