How many wedding dress shops did you go too?

Bought the first dress I tried on, didn't try any others. Haha. But it was a sample, so that changes everything,

Countless. It was tiring and stressful. I wouldn't recommend it lol but hey some find the one at the first place. Yay for them

I went to two different places, but I'd done a lot of online browsing so I knew what I was interested in. I made an appointment at salon #1 and I tried on different silhouettes and found a few I really liked. It was low-pressure because it was just me and my mom and I knew I was just going to see what silhouettes looked good. I tried on about 10 dresses. I went to salon #2 because they were the only ones who carried a dress I desperately wanted to try (it didn't look good on me at all) and I brought my mom and grandma. There were some definite options there, but I wanted my grandma to see some of my favorites at salon #1. We went back to salon #1 and I brought a bigger group with my MOH, aunt/godmother, mom, and grandma and I found THE dress! There's no "good" number of salons to go to - there will always be more and more dresses to try - but you stop when you find something you love. One of my friends fell in love with the third dress she tried on at the first salon she went to. I know other brides who tried 10 stores and over 100 dresses in a couple different states before they found the one. Good luck and I'm sure you'll find "the one!"
