We looked at 2 venues yesterday and found a things we like and don't like but would love to put down a deposit on one of them ASAP but I feel like we should look at some more to get a feel for what else is out there. How many did you look at before you and your FS decided? ETA- my wedding date is...

We looked at 2 venues yesterday and found a things we like and don't like but would love to put down a deposit on one of them ASAP but I feel like we should look at some more to get a feel for what else is out there.

How many did you look at before you and your FS decided?

ETA- my wedding date is NOT what's listed (7/31/2020). We don't have a date because we don't have a venue. I'll change it to late 2018 since that is what we're looking at Smiley smile sorry for any confusion!

    I looked at a ton! We couldn't find one we liked and for a decent price so we had a really hard time along with pressures from family.

    We looked at 11 in person before making our decision and putting down a deposit.

    So far we saw 3 venues I fell in love with one of them but we have 2 more the check out

    We looked at a TON online and still ended up visiting 10. We went with the 2nd one we viewed. It came down to three that we loved but we knew the 2nd was the one when we kept comparing every other venue to it and realized we loved everything about it.

    ETA- we also spread out appointments throughout two months so it wasn't super overwhelming. Take your time Smiley smile

    I did a LOT of research online first, so I feel like we "visited" a ton of venues - but we actually only visited one! It seemed like a perfect match online, and I fell in love with it when we toured the place.
