How many venues did you look at before you decided?

I think we looked at 6 in person. We booked the second to last one.

I creeped on about 6 of them, then went to go see my top 2 and luckily loved the first one!

We looked at six (although did not do a full tour of that many, just drove by three). I have a spreadsheet of 67 that I contacted for information though before we went on visits.

9, but we wanted to explore all the options in the area before making our decision. We knew ours was it 5 minutes in. And it was the 4th place and that was more because if the distance from where we live.

We physically looked at 2, but probably looked at more than a dozen online.

We checked out three before deciding, and I almost signed with one, but my florist advised the one I was considering, while gorgeous, wasn't as flexible with some of their rules. I love the venue we ended up with!

In person 1 of each. I spent hours online searching venues while sitting with my hospitalized father. DH was working FT and a FT student so we looked at pics, of 2 or so of each, picked the one we liked the most and toured them. Practically signed right then and there.

I did a lot of research online before venturing out. I ended up physically visiting two venues before I fell in love with the second one and booked immediately. No regrets.

We looked at 8 venues online. We were supposed to look at 2 in person but my fiance loved the first one so much, we put down the deposit that same day.

We looked at a few online and visited 7. We fell in love with the last one and booked it on the spot.

I had email contact with a bunch just to get more info but we only visited 2. FH wanted to visit more just to make sure but in the end we decided the second one we saw was the best option for us.

We looked at 3 in total and about half way through seeing the 3rd one I knew it was the one for us! It literally had everything we wanted and was looking for

I researched every venue within a certain limit and contacted someone from each, however the one we picked was the 2nd one we went and looked at

If you know, you know. We looked at nine because we're having a DW and squeezed as much tours as we could during our trip. We fell in love with one that wasn't handicap accessible so we ended up with a different one that is gorgeous. We just needed time to fall out of love with the first one.

We looked at about 10 venues before making a decision. Ironically we went with the first venue we saw, but we started out with a list of about 20 venues and narrowed from there!

We only went to two and we just knew the one that worked best for us. Before you put the deposit down, just make sure it's realllly what works for you both.

We looked at five. One of each basic "type" a hotel, a restaurant/inn, a historic site, a vineyard and a ballroom/wedding facility. We knew after our third visit which was the place for us but felt we should see a couple more so that we could be 100% certain. I definitely recommend going to at least three. It's good to get a feel of the different venue style and types so you can see what works for you

Online, maybe 10-12? only went to one and decided we could stop there it was PERFECT

Do not book something that you're not in love with. I researched for a month and narrowed it down to 2 to visit. When I went to the first one, I just knew it was perfect for us. Especially if you're flexible with the date, continue looking.
