How many times did you get your engagement ring resized?

My fiance is a practical person and asked me for my ring size before buying the engagement ring. (Thus the proposal was somewhat expected, haha). It was just a hair too large... so I had it resized 1/8 smaller last week.

Then I wore it for another week and decided the 1/8 didn't do very much and I needed another 1/8 off, bringing it to a size 7. I dropped it off yesterday, and I'm going to pick it up right now. Yay! Hopefully it should be a perfect fit now.

Just once. He didn't ask me, he stole my claddagh ring out of my night stand. However because the shape of the engagement ring is different then the claddagh. The engagement ring ended up being two big and needed to be resized. I was told that you shouldn't really keep resizing again and again as it will degrade the ring

None - my fiancé also stole a ring from me that was similar in style to what I ended up with, so it fit perfectly right out of the box. He's good. lol. I thought it was a little too big at first, but after about a month, I realized the size gave me room with the fluctuating weather.

I am actually considering having my ring sized but Zales says they need it for like 3 weeks and I don't like that at all. Its a size 7 which I thought was my size but apparently I am like a 6.75 or 6.5. It spins like crazy.

I got my ring adjusted three times. I got my ring sized prior to engagement as well and one jeweler said I was a 6.5 but the ring was spinning all the time and was too big. I went to a more professional jeweler and he told me I was a 5.5 so I took his suggestion and it fit a bit snug. The next morning the temps were warmer and I couldn't get the ring on. I went back and he adjusted it to 5.75 but I felt it was a tad snug still when closing my palm. I ended up going with a 6 which is a little loose but I prefer it than being too tight. My ring isn't perfectly smooth on the bottom now from all the adjusting so I wish I would have went with the 6 to begin with like I thought but no one notices but me. However, I have a 4 prong ring and if I tap the stone it does rattle now. The jewelers tightened it for me but the next day it was the same. He says this is common and to get it tightened ever 4 months. Does anyone else have this issue with their ring? I feel like it shouldn't loosen that easy. I try to be very careful with it.
