How many times did you email the venue

Colleen, on August 11, 2019 at 1:50 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 15
I feel like I am emailing my venue once a month with questions. My wedding is September 28. Now I swear she said they had a VCR for kids room but does that include a DVD.

My wedding is in April 2020 and I email the venue a lot! Lol whenever something pops in my head or if I wanna come by and look at something. I think they should understand, luckily my venue has been understanding. You’re paying to have your wedding there so you want to know as much as possible!

I work when coordinator works so I can’t do that. I am taking two days off in September and we are meeting with her then.

I would assume if they specifically said VCR it does not mean DVD, but definitely check!

Yes! I emailed my venue all the time. In the last few weeks I emailed my contact person almost daily! They were great about it because the understand that little questions come up at the most random times. You could keep a list and then send multiple questions in one email if you’re that concerned.

Right? Then my thought is in 2019 where do I find VCR tapes. I can only find used ones to buy and not sure quality on those.

You’re paying a significant amount of money to have your wedding there, you can email them as much as you need to lol. If you feel like you’re annoying them, just write all of your questions down and send them all at once, maybe every week & a half, if you feel like they can wait that long. But again, your day is fast approaching and they understand you have questions. It’s fine to contact them as much as you need to!

I was worried I was being that annoying bride emailing them! I would randomly think of questions we hadn't talked about before and would just shoot them an email. Probably once or twice a month until the last month. Then there were more frequent emails as we hashed out final detailing.

We hired our venue late March of this year for our wedding in October 2020. I was emailing a couple times a month regarding colored linens, menu options and other things. We don't have a details meeting until next April so I was anxious to know somethings. Lately, if I have a question I try to wait until I have a few so I'm not bothering them so much. I'm sure they are used to being contacted frequently so unless you are excessive, like non-stop, I don't think there's an issue. You are paying them good money for your wedding. I think I have emailed and spoken to our florist more than anything! Smiley smile

The closer it gets, the more I contact them. I usually wait until I have a list of about 10 questions to send or I just call and we discuss them.

I email mine from time to time with a bunch of questions. I haven't contacted my coordinator at the venue with many questions as of late. Last thing we emailed about what this past week about the tasting. I am sure once I have more questions about the day of I will compile another list of questions. There are more forms for day of timeline and seating chart etc that will happen closer to the date that I have to give her.
