How many tiers in your wedding cake?

We're doing a small 2 tier wedding cake, and supplementing with multiple flavors of sheet cake.

Probably 4 tiers, 6”/8”/10”/12” is a 4 tier which serves about 100 people (but my baker said that should be enough for our 120-130 guests, because caterers tend to cut smaller portions than she does). Probably order a 4" to save, maybe we'll toss it on top to make it a 5 tier! I don't want to "over-do" it though. We'll have a naked or semi-naked cake, something like this picture. Planning to do vanilla or marble cake, with either vanilla or chocolate custard, with a light layer of either cinnamon or caramel buttercream icing (I don't know which yet, probably vanilla/ vanilla/ caramel - though we need to do a tasting still haha). We'll probably add some panna cotta from a nearby drop off caterer, I guess enough for 1/pp.

I think that'll be good for the amount of guests you have! Have you decided on flavors yet?

Maybe just 1 tier. We're planning on serving donuts to guests (1-2 per guest), and have thought about maybe getting a tiny cake for ourselves.
