How many servers for a 200p wedding?

We're bringing in street taco catering with two grills, not worried about the servers doing anything with that because there will be chefs behind the grills doing made-to-order. But we do want a few hosts/servers to potentially tray pass appetizers/clean up after people/cut the cake. How many should we have? Is 2 enough? Do we NEED 3?

    Our cocktail hour will be from 5:40-7, and dinner will begin at 7 with last call at 8:30. I don't need them to help with the dinner plates at all, just with appetizers, clean up, and cake. I feel like 2-3 sounds like plenty but I'm seeing posts online that say 1 per 25 people and that would blow my budget out of the water!

    I think you would need more than 2-3 servers for your event. I would suggest closer to 3-4 servers passing and 2-3 servers clearing plates. The staffing agency should be able to guide you on how many to hire.

    You can always have guest carry their own cake tray back. It may not be ideal but it can help you stay in budget.

    A hotel I used to work at was 1 server per 16 guests, 2-3 personally seems too small for the wedding if you're planning to have 200 guests unless you're okay with slower service of clean up and servicing the appetizers!
