How many people invited to your shower?

I had 120 guests at my wedding about 40 women were invited to the shower. We had 32 people at the shower, it was really nice

I'm not having one

You got me thinking about this... so we have around 60 women invited to the wedding, but only about 25 of them are in driving distance. About 5/25 are spouses of work friends or my parents friends, who I wouldn't invite to a shower. I'm guessing we'd end up with 15-20 max. I really would prefer it to be 10-15 though - I don't like big showers either

I have 193 on my guest list- most of those are on FH's side of the invite list & are friends/coworkers. The bridal shower invite list is at 32, RSVPs are due back to MOH by Monday, and so far she said she has only gotten 5 or so replies.

I think 20 have been invited and probably about 15 will attend.

I only wanted 10-15 people including my close family. After MIL got involved, she added on 10 more guests. Then, we invited around 8 close friends. So all together we are expecting around 30 people to show up, if not a few more.

Koch Bride- having a larger shower, did you host the shower at someone's home or rent another venue for it?

I've been working on this during the week - my MOH requested an estimate so that she can start to scout venues...

I have 100 women invited to the wedding. Knocked off 21 that are just too far distance wise... was able to knock off another 23 that I don't care so much about... currently sitting at 56 and I may be able to get it down to 46... hoping for a turnout of about 40!

I have 250 invited to the wedding and we had a couples shower so we invited 70 people, mostly my side because they all live in town. Probably only about 40 showed up, though.

ETA: We rented out a venue. It was pricey, but it was worth it. The only thing that sucked is that we anticipated more people due to them actually living there, but they didn't come, nor did the RSVP no. My mom is pissed and hurt that her family did that to her checkbook.

I've only ever been to showers hosted in someone's house so maybe that is why they have always been on the smaller side. I might have to suggest a commercial venue to my BMs since the guest count will be on the higher side.

I think the guest list count for the shower was 39. It's on Oct. 12th so haven't heard bckgrd much on RSVPs yet. They aren't due until the week before. It will be hosted at my in town MOH's house. She recently moved into a house that can accommodate that many if they all came. She has 5 kids so they have plenty of space and are used to a busy house. :-)

We are having about 60 people to our wedding, invited 75 - invited 20 to the shower and about 12 came. We wanted smaller and intimate all around.

Approx 65 women will be invited my wedding and approx 32 will be invited to my shower, probably not all will attend

After hearing years of people being upset that they weren't invited to such things, and others being upset that they were invited because they thought it was just because bride was after gifts, I decided to skip the whole thing, and we're going out instead.

I certainly appreciate people's generosity of giving gifts, but it always gets me the way they so often seem to think you would invite people just to get your hands on their gift. geez.

Since my girls are paying for the entire thing, I'm leaving everything up to them.

1. 1 bridesmaid hosted shower that has my friends that are roughly my age attending. Invited 20 attending 13

2. 1 family friend hosted shower that has my mom church people and her friends..and some of our staff. Invited 45? Attended 27-30ish?

3. 1 mutual friend of me and my mom is hosting a small gathering of those that I meet with on Friday mornings for coffee (a group that has roughly 8-10 women attend weekly) Invited 15? attending ?

Wedding RSVP: 210

I had 3 showers of varying size.

1. My moms side and friends ended up around 35 people

2. My dads side and friends ended up around 25 people

3. My "coworkers" (for lack of better term) had about 15

We are sending out 130 invites and are expecting around 160 people to show for the wedding.

I actually just did the list with a count today - 77 total are invited. I don't know when it is, my mom asked to do this early because it's a surprise.
