How many people at your bridal shower?

So my aunts contacted me about throwing a bridal shower for me last night. They're traditionally the ones to throw showers, and all of the female cousins (of which there are A LOT) are always invited. I'm trying to put together my guest list now for my other friends and FH's family, and was just trying to figure out how big is too big? I have 6 bridesmaids, plus two other friends I was going to invite. Then I was going to have my mom to invite three friends and for FH's mom to invite three friends, plus obviously FH's grandma. In total, it looks like there will be about 43 people on my guest, most of which are my cousins. I think my aunts are probably expecting this since we always invite all the cousins, but I'm just wondering how big have your bridal showers been?

Mine is going to be about 25. All the local females on my side of the family, my bridesmaids, and a couple friends.

There won't be anyone from his side or my out of town family.

I think there's like 80 on the guest list for one of mine, probably about 40 on my NC one... I'm also inviting about 350 to the wedding. If you're worried about numbers just leave it up to them, such as, thanks so much for hosting! Totally not sure what you're looking for number-wise, but these are my 8 bridesmaids addresses and a few other friends! Hopefully the aunts have the cousins addresses, so it wouldn't be like you're telling her to invite all them. I think 15 would be a reasonable number of people to invite other than family they are already inviting.

Ok, thanks! Yeah I just included the cousins' addresses since a couple of them moved recently so that they'd have the most updated list. We invited 230 to the wedding, so I feel like 43 isn't that far off. And I feel like there have been probably 30-35 at my cousins' past showers, but it's hard to remember. I think I just have one of the biggest bridal parties out of my family since I have 4 bridesmaids, 2 junior bridesmaids (so their mothers will be invited obviously), and a flower girl and her mother.

I think there's around 70 on the list, but we are estimating more like 50 to attend

The first shower is about 20 or so, and the second is only family and that will be closer to 50.

We are inviting 85 ladies, our wedding is at 315 right now. I expect about 65 to show up.

I went to a shower in July that was 140. Nothing is too big these days.....

Ok, that makes me feel better! Yeah I know several of my cousins won't show up since they're out of town and everything, so I think we'll probably end up between 30-35.

And 140 is crazy for a shower... did they just invite every woman invited to the wedding?

Mine is 10....wow haha. I don't even know 140 women! I only invited 100 to my wedding!

Our wedding invites are around 200. The shower invites are at 75 and some are obligation invites so they won't come. (Grandma and aunt 3 states away)
