How Many Hours is Your Reception?

5 hours. 1 for cocktail hour and 4 for the reception.

We don't have our timeline done yet, but I'm thinking of doing the ceremony at 3 or 4. So after that we would have cocktail hour start directly after that so we can take pictures and we would joined the reception within an hour. So assuming we start at 4 we should join the reception by 5:30. Dinner will be served at 6 and the party will go on as late as we want as we have an overnight venue. Quiet hours start at 10pm so I figure things will die down around then and it will just be a few stragglers hanging out around the fire pits. Should be a lot of fun.

Our reception is starting around noon and we have the space until midnight but I'm really hoping everyone will be gone around 4 at the latest! I know my mom and DOC won't have a problem running the stragglers off lol

5 hours including the cocktail hour!

Just 2.5 hours. We are doing just a family style dinner, cake and speeches. No dancing.

The ceremony will start at 10 am and the reception will wrap up around 2, so 4 start to finish.

Ours was 6 hrs. 6 to 12 AM

5.5 hours total. 1 hour for cocktail hour and 4.5 for reception. It's usually 5 hours but we received an extra half hour for free as an incentive while negotiating the contract.

Our reception is 5 hours going from 4-9pm with the cocktail hour from 3-4pm.

Cocktail hour plus another 5 hours.
