How many group bridesmaid pictures did you recieve?

Hello Everyone,
I have a question for those of you who are already married and recieved your pictures. I recieved my wedding pictures from my photographer and was dissapointed with how many pictures I got back with me (bride) and my bridesmaids posing all together (actually posing for the camera, not ones where they are just moving around getting ready/opening gifts/a picture with me and just one individual bridesmaid etc). I recieved about 8 pictures in total. Most of them are the same picture just edited differently. I was just wondering an estimate of how many pictures you recieved with you and all your bridesmaids? My husband had about 50 different pics with his groomsmen. We had a second shooter. The shooter I had was the main photographer. I feel like I wasnt given many pics but I dont really have anything to base this off of and was looking for an average.

This made me wonder so I just did a quick count in the 1100+ photos daughter & SIL received from their pro photographer. There were 16 "posed" shots of daughter and her full bridal party and 23 of the groom & his guys. There are tons of candids of both groups. However, the really big difference is that there are about 3 times as many photos of the bride alone as there are of the groom alone (I got curious and counted: Bride alone posed pics = 57; Groom? 20! ).

I got back 732 pro pics and got about 30 group shots with me and my BMs. I recommend reaching out to your photographer to express your concern and see if they have more pics they can give you.

Of ~700 pics, I have ONE formal photo of me with my bridesmaids. Yes, one. I have 5 posed getting ready photos (we’re in robes toasting champagne or cozied up on a sofa). I have no 1x1 bride and bridesmaid photos (I thought this was a standard photo that I didn’t need to specify on the shot list 🙄). Husband has 8 formal photos with his groomsmen. Fortunately I did a dress reveal with my bridesmaids, so I have those candid shots. But, yea, I was quite frustrated to not have more than one dang formal photo of me and my bridesmaids and zero 1x1s (I have them photo frames as gifts and would have loved to send them a 1x1 photo to put in the frame, but oh well). You can try asking if there are other photos, but I’m guessing you and I have the best of what’s available and there’s not much we can do about it now.

Hey Sarah! Congratulations! I hope you had the most wonderful wedding day!
If you are concerned about the number of photos that you got back from your photographer, I would recommend reaching out to them and asking are there any others that were not sent over to you. It can't hurt to ask!
