We are having about 40 petals - our daughter will be 5.5 by our wedding in November- the aisle is a bit long so I measured it out and cut paper “petals” and did a practice run and 40 was PLENTY

My daughter will be three by our wedding and instead of throwing petals she's just going to carry a single flower stem.
