Well since we are eloping in Virginia and spending our honeymoon at the beach, I was thinking something mid-length, light and lacey...either white or a powdery blue.

I went to one store and tried a small handful of dresses. I remember trying on maybe 10 or less only 3 stuck out to me and I tried the one I bought on almost 3 times

Believe it or not three. The third time is a charm. I found a dress that only needs the length altered. Otherwise it fits like it was designed for me.

I live in the LA area, so that means I had a lot of places to look. I started off with the shop nearest to my house, and then branched out because I wanted to try some of the styles I saw online. I tried on 23 different dresses before I found the right one.

Probably 10 or 15. Almost all I knew I wasn't going to pick but wanted to please my bridesmaids and mom. Actually picked one they wanted and it happened to be the first one I tried on
