How many dresses did you try on before you found yours?

I think you will be able to narrow it down once you try some of the dresses on, I went into davids bridal with a list that I wanted to try on, and some of them were out the instant I put it on, I think I tried on about 10 dresses, and I ended up buying the 10th dress

I think my dress was #5. One dress didn't really count because I knew it would be a second dress. I actually saw it on someone else and knew that was the one.

I got mine at the first store that I went to. It was the 8th dress that I tried on!! They told me to pick out 7 dresses that I like. So I did and tried them all on and didnt get the feeling with any of them. Some were beautiful but I just didnt get the "this is my dress" feeling. So the sales lady went and picked some out that she thought that I may like and one of the ones that she picked out was my dress!! I knew instantly that it was it. I didnt want to take it off! LOL

I tried on about 6 dresses before the one I eventually went with but then I also still tried on about 5 more after it just to be sure it was the one.

2 stores about 10 dresses

I went to Davids Bridal 2 times, 1st time with my sis when we were both looking for our dresses tried on 6, went back 2nd time and tried on 4 more and I knew which one I wanted and its the one I bought that day

About 30, all at the same store! The proprietor kept bringing me strapless dresses, which don't look good on my figure at all! Finally, my Mom and Godmother insisted she bring us some dresses with straps, and after a few 'maybes', I found it! Turns out it was a discount dress, because it was the last one of its kind at that store. And, it's a style I'd originally seen at David's Bridal, so how it got to that shop, I'll never know ;-) But I put it on, and didn't want to take it off, to the degree that another F.B.'s mother in the store said 'So, do you want to say 'Yes' to the dress'? LOL I kept smoothing it down in the front, like you do when you feel good in what you're wearing - that's how I knew. Well, that and my Mom and Godmother's sudden intakes of breath when I put it on....

I went to Davids Bridal twice - one time during their $99 sale, but didnt find anything (i looked at all price ranges)...and then went back with my MOH and tried on probably 15 dresses- different necklines, materials, etc. I had about a dozen dresses saved to my favorites and my consultant let me try every one she had in store, I liked a few, but didnt feel the moment. As I was getting discouraged, she brought me a dress that she liked and thought I would like. The second it was over my head, I knew it was the one!! I wore it around the store for over an hour while my MOH tried on dresses. I ordered it that day!!

At DB I tried on 5 dresss, and they were ok. Then went to Stellas, tried on 2, and out of the 2 when I brought my mom back with me to the store, she knew the one I really looked good in!

I tried on 2, took maybe 15 minutes from the store entrance to finding the one. We didn't realize it would be that short, for the fun of it, they threw in some ridiculous ones for me to try on lol

I'm also 5'1", my dream dress totally worked (tea length)

I tried on 25 dresses at 3 stores. Dress #25 was the winner. 19 dresses isn't too many at all, especially since there is no way you will like them all equally in person. Online I think I looked at every wedding dress that ever existed before i went in to the store.

I tried on 2. I already knew my dress was the one before I tried it on but the sales lady made me try another one on before it.

I actually didn't try on any, the thrift store that I found my dress at didn't have a fitting room. I was a size 4-5 and the dress is a 4. I just bought it and prayed it would work, and it did, lol, some dress journey.
