How many cupcakes?

Are you having multiple flavored cupcakes? If so, I'd say estimate 2 cupcakes per person. You can always buy small boxes and guests can take one as they leave if there are cupcakes left over, that way nothing goes to waste.

I was thinking on multiflavored or colored cupcakes i just don't want an over abundance or shortage of them i have the food down but not the cupcakes thanks for your help

Our bakery said average one per person. Some won't eat any some will eat 2 but it will usually even itself out in the end.

I would do a little over 1 per person. For our 100 person guest lists, we're ordering 120 cupcakes, in four different flavors.

I would say one per person. There are some people who will not have one. For our wedding cake, our baker told us to take the number of guests and subtract 20% and that would be the amount to plan for the cake size.

We are going to plan for 1.5 per person. We are going to do a flavor survey / request with the RSVPs. We'll have around 7 flavors to choose from and ask guests to pick 1-3 that they prefer. That way we can make sure to order enough of the popular flavors. Our baker is out of this world and fantastically priced so we know we'll need lots. We'll also get single cupcake boxes with labels / markers for guests to take one home. But we'll hold off til later in the evening for those so guests don't take them all right away
