How long is too long to wait for wedding pictures.

My husband and I got married on 3/18/2017. Here we are on 5/30/2017 and I still have yet to receive any teaser photos. I reached out a little after 3 weeks to check the status. I heard back from her a little after the 4 week mark. She let me know they were coming along great and were almost complete. I reached out again at the 8 week mark, again a week later and then a week after that. We're now almost 10 weeks and I finally called and left a message. At the very least I don't think a response, some teasers and an ETA is too much to ask for.

I would consult your contract and then I would call her every day until you head back from her.

My contract says in 8 weeks. My grandma has ALS and couldn't attend the wedding. My photographer knew that so she gave me some sneak peaks right away to show my grandma. She released one sneak peak the day of and 3 more the day after. She normally does one sneak peak a week after. She also usually does a blog post with 8-10 pictures in 2 weeks and she got mine out 5 days after the wedding so my grandma could see right away . I love my photographer

Unfortunately there wasn't a timeline specified in the contract. Not something I thought about when I was booking. I most concerned with reviews and portfolio and she checked off every box. She was an award winning photographer and booked up quickly so I hurried to lock her in.

Our photographer contact states we will have all unedited & edited images within a month.
Like other PP said, you really need to review your contract & then discuss with the photographer if they are past the due date.

Hm my photographer contract says "4 weeks". I would call and/or email everyday

We got our sneak peek Saturday of about 30 pics. The remainder we will get in about a month. That seems like an awful long time and poor communication.

That seems quite long to wait. We were married the same day as you. We had our pictures in less than 4 weeks. I will say they told us it usually take 6 weeks for the final pictures. But we talked to the photographer because we were doing a second reception back home since we did a dw. She was able to get the pics done in time for us to show all our family our wedding pictures for the first time at that reception. I would say 10 weeks is too long!!!

Well in 9 days… it will be exactly 6 MONTHS I have been waiting for mine! I did receive sneak peaks, 4-5 can’t remember the night of the wedding, My video was released within 4 weeks. But as far as wedding pictures… Still waiting.
