How long have you known your maid (or matron) of honor?

Almost 12 years! We met when we were in 7th grade because we ended up in literally 6 out of our 8 classes together, and somehow always were assigned to sit next to each other in all of those classes 😂 we joke always that we were just forced to be friends, we had no say in the matter, because we were literally forced to spend almost all day together for an entire year hahaha. It was a friendship that began out of pure convenience and coincidence haha, but over the years we got gradually closer and by junior year in HS we were best friends. We also went to college together and were roommates there too!

My little sister is my maid of honor! So 22 years!

26 and a half years, since the day I was born. She's my older sister.

Aw! How did you ask her to be your MOH?

My MOH is my oldest sister, so I've known her since birth!

We met the first weekend our freshman year of college, so 7.5 years!

I don't have a MOH, but I love that I have bridesmaids from all phases of my life!

My two older cousins I've known for my whole life (26 years)

My oldest friend I've known since preschool (22 years)

My best friend from my hometown I've known since fifth grade (16 years)

My FSIL I've known since I started dating my FH (11 years)

And my best friend from college (8 years)

Inseparable for 23 years! She's the sister my parents never game me and we even look the part!

My lovely younger sister is going to be my MOH. She is 4 1/2 years younger than me and we have always been the best of friends. I love her to death. She will be 21 when we get married!

I’ve known mine for around 17 years, her mother and mine taught together, and her older sister (my moms favorite student) picked me up from the bus when I was little! Our moms are best friends, and when my MOH started working at the same job as me, we just grew even closer! I’m so blessed to have her!

We met in 1st grade and became instant friends. High school presented its challenges with falling out with a larger group of mutual friends but no matter she was my priority and I was hers. College had us in different states but I swing over to pick her up and bring her home. Other than college, we have never been more than an hour away from each other so at least once a month we get together for a girls night out and since we started planning her wedding 2 years ago and mine right after she got married last year we get our nails done every other week to keep up with all the details.

I have both a Matron and a Maid of Honor. The matron is my sister, so I met her 12/31/72, the day she was born. My maid is my daughter, whom I also met on the day of her birth, 6/18/91!! My two favorite women on the planet are going to stand up with me on my special day. I love that!

Oh goodness, I suppose we have "known" each other since high school (so about 25 years?). We worked at a bank together and enjoyed each others company. Then drifted apart for a bit. During that time apart. we both had our first marriages on the exact same day! Lol

We became super close after our boys started attending the same school, about 9 years ago now. We were on the school board together and other various fundraisers. We realized that we really clicked. We have been tight every since. We both went through a divorce at the same time. That is what really solidified our bond.

Met my man of honor when he was 13 months old and I was 7 years old!

All my life, she is my cousin.

We have been friends since high school, so it's been over 10 years! Geez now that I think of it, it's been 15-16 years....
