    We're hoping no more than 30 minutes, we're planning on writing our ceremony to include written vows and it'll be bilingual for my family!

    Out of curiosity, how are you writing the ceremony to be bilingual? Do you have one officiant or two? And is everything completely translated or are you doing some parts of the ceremony in english and some in the other language? Smiley smile

    I'm going to try to make my ceremony 15 minutes short or shorter. We're just going to do Rings sand and vows. My fiance is very nervous in front of people so we're going to make it short and sweet.

    We were right around the 30 minute mark - I think a little under!! My dad is a pastor and says the perfect ceremony length is exactly 26 minutes! Smiley laugh Not too rushed and not too long!

    I have one friend who went almost too short though - the processional for her 7 bridesmaids took about as long as the entire ceremony!

    Our officiant is bilingual! Originally we were thinking of having everything except for vows to be bilingual, but now FH wants to possibly do his vows in Spanish as well hahaa.

    My daughter is having a full nuptial mass, so 1 hour. My middle daughter married last month and had the same type of mass. It was so beautiful. My oldest had a civil ceremony performed by her SIL and was 15-20 minutes which was also beautiful. It’s important to have the ceremony you as a couple desire because that’s the only part of the day that is truly all about you.

    I’m wanting short and sweet. Hopefully no longer than 30 mins and I don’t even want it to be that long. I want to get that part done and spend time with our guests and together

    Ours was about 15 or so minutes long - I took a few extra minutes due to my crying, lol.

    No singing, no readings, no poems, no unity ceremony. Welcome, introductions, little story of how we met, how awesome we are, lol, statement of intent, vows and boom I now pronounce you Husband and Wife!

    30 minutes preferably, 45 minutes max. Our officiant knows us personally so it depends on how much he ends up talking! haha.

    Less than 30 minutes. The actually ceremony only takes 10 minutes. We wanted it short and sweet.
