How long do you plan to play the song for your first dance?

I'm trying to figure out how long to play our first dance song! We're burning the songs we're wanting to edit for processional, recessional, and our first dance song on a CD. We're not wanting a full song for our first dance, we'd like to keep it somewhat short. We have a family member who will be in charge of pressing play/pause, we just want the songs to fade in and out instead of just cutting it off.

Also the best websites you guys like for music editing if you know any. All help is appreciated!! Smiley laugh

We played the whole thing. I figured 3 minutes that’s not bad. We were done after the first verse and chorus, lol. Husband kept trying to get the attention of the DJ as we didn’t want to just walk off the dance floor. It didn’t happen and we sucked it up

    Well, hello there.

Today/yesterday, my kids (people that I’ve helped raise) played 🎺🎻 and 🎙🗣 “Thinking out Loud” for our first dance, the entire 🎶.

    It was great.

    Congratulations and 🍀‼️

I think we actually did play the full song but maybe the intro was cut a bit short so that it started right away for lyrics

We're playing the whole thing. Every lyric meaningful to us and we couldn't stand to cut any of them out.
