How long are you waiting to have kids after marriage?

Not long / right away. We don't want to have kids too late in case we have complications. I'm almost 30 and we realize time's a'tickin

By the time we wed next summer we will wait 6 years....................................................................until they are are grown and graduated HS! I'll be 40, FH 49. We have one child down, 3 to go.

When FH met me I had just turned 30. And he was snipped and was 39. He admitted he was scared that at my age I was going to want more kids. I shut down that notion real quick! I've been done since I was 23.

I'm already in my 30s and H is older. We are waiting a little longer mostly because we took our honeymoon to a Zika country. Also, because we don't like my current insurance and don't trust the doctor system for pregnancy and child birth.

Two years or when H makes a certain agreed upon salary, whichever comes first. I want to have kids before I'm 30, but I also want to be able to be a stay at home mom.

I would say 1-2 yrs definitely not in the first year enjoy each other and get to know the married you

No waiting, I'm hoping to be pregnant right away. I'll be almost 34 :-/

Lol! already had our 2 and now we are getting married! but i am older (40) so we didnt eant to wait. If you are young though I would wait a few years and really enjoy being young and married as a couple first!

We're already TTC, we're both in our mid 30's and have been talking about TTC for about 5 years, but we've known we wanted to have kids together for longer, it just wasn't the right time (we were both in college)

I want it to be right away but I just recently decided to go to school for something completely different so I want to finish my program and we want to be moved into our own home, so probably about 3 years after the wedding

Probably right away. I'm 31 and he's 34 and we've been together forever. Plus we had a miscarriage right after getting engaged so I'm well aware there could be complications and it could take a bit.

Probably 2-3 years after we get married. No rush, we just want to enjoy our married life and travel a bit.

We want to enjoy time with each other first, and travel. I would say 3-5 years. I'm about to be 25, so by 30 or so but definitely not right away.

Right away! FH is a bit older so we'd like to start our family as soon as possible.

We are going to wait probably a year or so. I'm hoping to change jobs after the wedding so I am waiting until that happens and I'm happy with what I'm doing.

We're waiting about 24 hours lol. We're both in our 30s and don't want to be old parents.

FH and I are only 23, we'd like to have our first kid around 28-30. We'd like to have some time just us to travel some more abroad, and focus our saving on buying a house, which we should hopefully be able to do in the next 4-5 years, right before we plan to start TTC.

We'll wait about 9 months to a year afterwards to start trying. I want to take a fun trip to Europe in the spring and be able to enjoy my sister's bachelorette and wedding (aka drink). But, we won't wait too long after that... I'm 28 and we want several kids. I don't wanna be having any after about 35.

We could wait three years, we could wait ten! We're in our early twenties so we're just going with the flow right now. I know we don't want kids immediately though!
