So here in Germany most receptions are what my DH calls "Open-End" meaning the party goes on until the wee morning hours (4, 5, or 6am) this is the norm here. But we are having our wedding in the States and the venues we are looking into typically go until 10 or 11pm....even having an after party at a local bar, last call is at 130am in FL. We really want to dance all night long. Is anyone else having this issue and what time is your reception and after party going until if you are having one? Any suggestions?

After party is scheduled for midnight at the hotel banquet room Smiley smile None of the hotels in the area we are getting married have a bar so we are improvising. It will all be set up the day of the wedding. Our reception ends at midnight.

Our reception ends at 11:30. We purchased an extra hour from our venue. Once the reception ends we are going to a club here in Vegas. We haven't decided which one yet.

Our reception is scheduled to end at 12am and the wedding coordinator said if people still want to drink and party they can at the bar till 2am so that should be good enough - our venue is a hotel so no one has to step out

Our reception will wrap up at 11 and we have to be out of the venue with decorations and all by 12. I have thought about doing an after party somewhere, but I honestly think FH and I will want to get back and have our own after party in our room Smiley winking

Our ceremony is 11:30am, the civilized portion of our day should end at 3pm, then a change into my short dress, an after party in the hotel lounge @ 3:30, then an "after, after pub crawl" through old town,(walking distance) and I imagine then back to one of the suites, ours is a pretty good "all nighter" groupSmiley smile

Our reception ends at 10 pm and we have rented a coach bus to take the young crowd to a local bar (drinks and food on your own) and back to the main wedding hotel.
