How late is too late for engagement pictures?

Hi! I'm Mandy and I'm new! I'm getting married March 1, 2014 and one thing I've always wanted was to get engagement pictures done. But with scheduling and time we haven't yet. With our wedding less than 3 months away is it too late to take them? My FMIL commented it was too late, and well as my FH....

Hi! I'm Mandy and I'm new! I'm getting married March 1, 2014 and one thing I've always wanted was to get engagement pictures done. But with scheduling and time we haven't yet. With our wedding less than 3 months away is it too late to take them? My FMIL commented it was too late, and well as my FH. I am kind of upset because this is not something I wanted to miss out on.

    I'm getting married a month after you and we are not taking ours until the 14th. We have already used older pictures for our Save the Dates that were sent out last month. These pics will be used at the wedding and just for us to have forever.

    So, no, I don't think it's too late.

    IT IS NEVER TOO LATE!!!

    We had ours done about a month after we got engaged... and then once we finally set the date I wanted to take them again so we did but we called it our "save the date" session!

    We wil also get pictures taken each year for our anniversary!!!

    My friends did them a couple weeks before their wedding and they displayed the pictures around the venue on their wedding day. Never too late!

    Welcome! And it's never too late. We haven't done ours either. Our photographer says one of the best things about e-pics are getting comfortable being in front of the camera and having your photographer get to know you.

    There is no time limit for that in my opinion (of course if it's not the day before the wedding lol). Even if they won't be utilized for something for the wedding (invites, stds, etc), they will still come in handy. They hold memories and can be shared with your children! As long as you're engaged, the pictures hold the same meaning.

    Definitely get some snow pictures. You have until the last day of February to get them done :-)
