How is your wedding party walking down the aisle?

So I originally was going to have one groomsman pared with one bridesmaid to walk down the aisle. One of my bridesmaids does NOT wear dresses, never has and never will. She wears man's clothing, every day, she has also never dated a man. She recently expressed to me that she is really uncomfortable with the idea of walking with a man down the aisle. I think the groomsman would be polite and willing to walk with her in her dress pants ans button down lavender shirt, but not completely happy about it. Another bridesmaid has a VERY jealous boyfriend who I think would make her feel self conscious about walking with another man (he's not a groomsman and we won't make him one). My sister would do it bit she is married and currently has 4 kids (3 foster kids one bio) amd I think it would be confusing to them.... what are my alternatives? Everyone walk alone? The only way I have seen it done before is in pairs. Thanks!

Let them all walk in singley and pair them up at the end, which no one cares about anyway.

This is really just pointless aggravation for you; no one really pays attention to the recessional.

In my first wedding we had a jelly wife of a GM who said the same thing about not wanting him to walk with another woman, so I paired him with my prettiest bridesmaid just to piss her off.

I got lucky this time (in so many ways), one of my ladies is like your friend who doesn't wear dresses. She will be dressing like the GMs do. FH asked his sister to be a groomswoman. She is going to dress like my BMs. They are walking down the aisle together and no one has any issues with it.

I also don't understand. My sister and her wife are both my bridesmaids and they agreed to walk with the groomsmen.

You can do whatever you want! Alone is just fine and not unusual.

We're going to have everyone walk alone. I'm hoping my little cousins will be two of my BMs. One will be in her teens and one will be 20 but all the GM are in their 30s. I'm uncomfortable at the idea of my cousins being escorted by much older men.
