No there are no leaves on the trees in NJ in November, just bare branches. You know the weather here in NJ is weird. SOme times around Thanksgiving it snows other years it's in the 60's. Try & check out the farmer's almanac & see their prediction for November, they are pretty accurate. I'm afraid an outdoor ceremony in November in NJ would be risky. SorrySmiley sad

I have to agree that outside in november is risky. my sister got married the day after thanksgiving a few years ago and there was a blizzard! i am in michigan, but we get similar weather here...good luck!

It may be a bit cool out for a november wedding, have it indoors!

If you're still hung up on having an outdoor wedding in November, I'd recommend a tented wedding, with heaters. I've been a videographer for a few years now, and I notice more brides in the Jersey area are moving towards the off season. I think it may be due to warming weather trends and higher costs receptions are charging nowadays. Best of luck!

I believe the trees are all naked by November.

    Amy,

I'm in Princeton at the moment where the leaves are starting to fall. By late November the trees will be bare, and the daylight hours will be short. I suggest you go inside that time of year.

The trees are definatly naked in late november. However, you can still get some very interesting pictures in Black and White and Color.

    Amy,

We will be photographing a wedding this weekend, Sunday, November 2 at The Tides. This place has trees that do not lose their leaves or change colors until December. Feel free to view some of our photos over the next few weeks to see if you would like to hold a November wedding. I know the price for this place went down significantly for the bride by making in November instead of October.

    Best wishes,

    Loretta

Please view our website and look at photos from Laurel and Patrick's wedding on November 2nd. Those were taken in North Haledon, NJ.
